Recommended Combination - Lap Frames

This versatile frame has been designed with a 'bean bag' base to sit comfortably on the lap whilst holding either a hoop or tapestry frame. The lap frame will always sit in the right position for you and in just about any chair, including recliners.

Both hoop attachment and tapestry frames have been specially designed to fit the lap frame base, which has sliding sides to allow different lengths of tapestry frame to be accommodated.

The lap frame base is sold separately to the hoop and tapestry frame attachments. If you already have your own tapestry frame attachments it may be possible for you to use these with the lap frame base - they may only need a hole drilled through each vertical bar to attach it to the base. If you prefer to use a hoop however, you will need the 10 inch hoop attachment. Our 10 inch hoop comes with a cross member which attaches to the lap frame base; this is not found on hoops bought elsewhere.
