About Stitch Direct Stitch Direct is a division of Creative Crafts Publishing Ltd which was established in 1992. Creative Crafts Publishing Ltd is the publisher of the successful monthly needlework title Mary Hickmott's New Stitches from which the majority of Stitch Direct's products are sourced. With a long established history in the needlework market our team have extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for the craft as well as a well-honed sense of what today's embroiderers enjoy stitching and the items that make invaluable additions to their workboxes. Our designs from Mary Hickmott are of the highest quality with close attention to detail. There are no fractional stitches in Mary's designs and her repertoire encompasses beautiful florals and remarkable wildlife studies that have delighted New Stitches readers for years. With clear charts and comprehensive instructions, every embroidery from Stitch Direct is a joy to stitch. We pride ourselves on tracking down exciting accessories from all over the world as well as providing satisfying embroideries featuring irresistible designs in a range of techniques from Cross stitch to the more unusual such as Goldwork and Boutis. Many of our kits and books are ideal for beginners so if you have always wanted to try Hardanger, Blackwork or Lagartera, one of Stitch Direct's products will set you on your way.
